Rooibos

Rooibos, also known as red tea, does not derive from Camellia sinensis but from Aspalathus linearis, a shrub native to South Africa. The leaves and twigs are harvested and processed to obtain a deep red infusion with a naturally sweet, smooth and slightly nutty taste. Caffeine-free, it is suitable for the whole family and can be enjoyed at any time of day. Rich in antioxidants, it helps counteract oxidative stress and has traditionally been used to relieve digestive discomfort, including abdominal colic in children.
