Among the finest Chinese black teas, Keemun is produced in Anhui Province, known for its bamboo forests and mild, humid climate. Its processing was perfected in 1875 by Yu Quianchen. Appreciated for its elegant floral aroma reminiscent of rose and orchid, it offers a smooth, lightly tannic cup with delicate notes of cocoa and a distinctive fruity hint. For its complexity, it is often referred to as the “Burgundy” of teas.
