Course On The Tea Route

A comprehensive tea culture experience combining an introductory course, a preparation and tasting workshop, a tour of the production facilities, and an exclusive tea-paired lunch in Florence’s historic center.
Guided by Tea Expert and Consultant Regina Carrai, participants will explore the history of the tea plant, cultivation techniques, and the main categories of tea. The program includes a guided tasting of fine green, white, oolong, and black teas, as well as selected blends.
The experience continues with a visit to the creative workshop alongside Tea Blender and Taster Anna Carrai, who will explain how a blend is created and the role of the Tea Blender in achieving the perfect balance of ingredients and aromas.
Finally, guests will step into the heart of the production area to witness the blending and packaging processes firsthand.
To conclude the experience, guests will be transferred to the heart of the Oltrarno district for a refined tea-paired lunch at the Palazzo Frescobaldi tea room—a setting where tea meets gastronomy through a curated journey of pairings and flavors designed to highlight every nuance.
