Smoked Whiskey Barrel

Rare Japanese black tea smoked with wood from whisky barrels, soft and sweet with notes of malt, peat and vanilla. Produced in Shizuoka prefecture by the family plantation of Mr. Matsumoto, a highly talented Tea Maker, in extremely limited quantities, the result of years of experimentation. Delicate and aromatic profile, inspired by Chinese Lapsang Souchong, unique and refined, with an aromatic profile close to that of a fine Scotch, thanks to the smoking of the leaves for 6 to 8 hours with chips from Japanese whisky barrels.
