Lapsang Fumè

Lapsang Souchong is one of China’s oldest and most renowned black teas, produced in Fujian Province. Its unmistakable smoky aroma comes from traditional drying over smoldering pinewood fires. In the cup it is bold and full-bodied, yet low in tannins. Excellent not only for tasting but also for gastronomic pairings with cheeses, smoked salmon and cured meats, it is surprisingly versatile in creative recipes, from sauces to risottos.
