Gyokuro

In Japan, as cherry blossoms (Sakura) reach their peak between late March and early April, plantations destined for Gyokuro are shaded to enhance their sweetness. Also known as “Jade Dew,” this extraordinary green tea is harvested exclusively by hand in early spring. The aroma is intense and vegetal, with hints of blooming meadow, while the taste is round, smooth and naturally sweet, with remarkable depth and persistence.
