Counted among China’s famous “Ten Inestimable Teas,” Lung Ching is produced in Zhejiang Province near the scenic West Lake. Its name, “Dragon Well,” recalls the legend of a benevolent dragon who ended a long drought. So highly esteemed that it was granted imperial tea status in the 17th century, it is still hand-processed and pan-fired in metal woks. The taste is sweet and harmonious, with light toasty notes and remarkable elegance.
